CLIFFSIDE GARDEN REFRESH

A mountainside estate within the Cliffs Community.  Working hand in hand with this client, we designed an outdoor garden that truly delights.  The existing garden needed organization, not pruning, not simplifying.  This cliffside garden has extreme environmental conditions inside it's microclimate, with a strong western exposure from the sun and wind.  To bring life into this space, certain elements were added. Pathways that lead and delight as you walk through a space full of perennial curiosities.  Pathways that add structure to the natural landscape that flows from ornamental plantings into native plantings.  Additional evergreen areas to add interest throughout the year.  Shrubs and Perennials tucked away in different spaces to catch your eye as you walk through the space.  Landscape Design created by Caroline Barrick.  Installation by Red Elm.
